Refelctions and Remembrance Roundtable for Suvivors and their advocates

December 20, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

For the past 20 years Survivors of Victims of Homicide have been supporting each other through the trying Holiday season.
Isaura Mendes and Shannon Flattery of The Bobby Mendes Peace Legacy host a roundtable of sharing and reflections from activists around the country who are working tirelessly to mitigate the toll that these enormous losses take. We will highlight the work of two additional groups: Evermore, a national organization working to establish The White House Office of Bereavement Care and Protect the Sacred, from The Navajo Nation, where the mounting death of elders from Covid 19 ultimately threatens the loss of their sacred traditions. This event marks the end of the Massachusetts Survivors of Victims of Homicide Month celebrated annually from Nov. 20 – Dec. 20.
Please join us for this moving event.
Reservations are required for this online event. Sunday Dec 20th 5pm EST
